META MUSIC VALLEY HORIZON WORLDS
We reimagined Music Valley as a winter wonderland in Meta’s Oculus platform for Sabrina Carpenter’s VR concert.
We were asked by Meta to transform Music Valley - a VR game in their Horizon World platform into a winter wonderland to coincide with Sabrina Carpenter’s upcoming show.
Music Valley is a bespoke desert oasis in Horizon Worlds, where it’s festival season all year long. The main stage features a massive 180-degree screen and a translucent dance floor filled with balloons, light sticks, and grabbable objects to create a visually dynamic space and encourage everyone to move to the beat. Mini-games and interactive experiences keep fans entertained between sets, from a DJ “jump on the beat” challenge to a UFO note-collection game.
To transform the space for winter, we swapped sun-soaked rock for thick snow and a frozen, icicle-covered waterfall. We introduced new low lighting to bring a cosy warmth to the environment, along with fresh interactive elements — floating lanterns you could release into the sky, additional fire pits, and a branded snow globe selfie booth.
